Neal Richard Group (NRG) is a client-focused real estate development firm that provides highly integrated and experienced project management services, strategic development and management consulting along with real estate investment services for corporations, builders, investors and individuals. Corporate Leadership

 

Derrick Evers - CEO / Managing Partner

Derrick Evers leads NRG with a versatile and deep knowledge of construction and planning from both the design and execution perspectives. With years of extensive and diverse project management experience ranging from healthcare to government, corporate to academic developments, he manages and leads the Neal Richards Group.

In the past, Derrick has served as Senior Development Manager with Trammell Crow Company, a national commercial real estate development company. While at Trammell Crow, he worked on numerous projects for various clients ranging from ground-up construction to interior fit-out.

As an integral member of the Jones Lang LaSalle's project design services team, Derrick led complex developments from inception to completion for all phases of projects. This includes programming, pre-construction; consultant selection, pricing and scoping of contractors/suppliers; supervision and coordination of construction; development and adherence to schedule; furniture procurement/move process and financial close out.

In the field, Derrick worked as a General Contractor with The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company prior to moving to the real estate side of the business. His proven ability to manage multiple projects, estimate project costs, handle contract administration and negotiate with clients and coordinating teams, led to invaluable success with Whiting-Turner.


Derrick earned a Bachelor of Construction Science/Construction Management from Texas A&M University.  He is an affiliate of ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) and AGC (Associated General Contractors).

 

Richard Toussaint, M.D.  -  Managing Partner

 

Richard Toussaint, M.D., serves as development consultant to Neal Richards Group.  He currently is the President of Forest Park Medical Center operations and is intimately involved in the development of the hospital infrastructure and its overall strategic direction.
           
Dr. Toussaint is Board Certified with the American Board of Anesthesiology and has practiced in the Dallas area for over 20 years. Along with the practice of medicine, he has been involved in investment banking and consulting as a managing partner of Amherst Capital Corporation, while developing, managing, and selling various commercial and healthcare-related businesses. Dr. Toussaint is the Chief Medical Officer of American Physician House Calls, a physician house-call practice model located in Dallas and Medical Director of the Surgery Center of Mesquite.

Dr. Toussaint is a magna cum laude graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas, in 1979.  Dr. Toussaint was awarded a degree in medicine from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1983.  He completed his anesthesia residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital. 

 

Wade Barker, M.D. -  Managing Partner

Dr. Barker is a Partner at Neal Richards Group and a leading bariatric surgeon in the Dallas community who has led the effort to deliver improved patient care to his patients in a comfortable, hotel-like environment. It is Dr. Barker's desire for more efficient and comfortable delivery of healthcare to patients that has initiated this effort in the development of a medical surgical facility developed and managed by the physicians who utilize their own facility. Dr. Barker is a member and Medical Director of the Bariatric Center of Dallas.


He has been in private practice in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for over 10 years. Dr. Barker received his medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in 1991. He completed his general surgery residency at Texas Tech University School of Medicine in 1996. Dr. Barker is Board Certified in General Surgery with the American Board of Surgery.

 

David Genecov, M.D. - Managing Partner

 

Dr. Genecov serves as medical development consultant of the Neal Richards Group. Dr. Genecov is a consultant for medical development and research for the Medtronic Corporation, Sythes Maxillofacial and Biomet Corp. He is also the owner and developer of a private outpatient ambulatory surgery center and is the founder, developer and partner of SkinWithin Services LLC, an international skin care manufacturer and sales company. 

Dr. Genecov serves as Director of the International Craniofacial Institute and the Cleft Lip and Palate Treatment Center and is an adjunct assistant professor in the department of biomedical sciences at Baylor Dental School TAMU HSC Dallas.  Dr. Genecov is also a clinical instructor in the department of plastic surgery at UT Southwestern Medical School.


Recently Dr. Genecov became a managing partner for the Forest Park Medical Center and is instrumental in the development, syndication and recruitment of the medical project. 

Dr. Genecov received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in Austin. He began his medical training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and finished his plastic surgery residency at Wake Forest University Medical Center in 1997. He is fellowship trained in cranio-maxillfacial surgery.  He is Board Certified in both general and plastic surgery.

 

Robert Wyatt, M.D. - Managing Partner

Dr. Wyatt has been an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist in the Dallas area for over 10 years. Prior to returning home to Texas, Dr. Wyatt served as a faculty member at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He is Chairman of the Board of Managers for Baylor Surgicare North Garland and serves the Texas Medical Board as an expert consultant for Otolaryngology. 
 
Dr. Wyatt is the former President of North Texas Ear, Nose and Throat Associates, a 67-member specialty group in the DFW area focused on ensuring and benchmarking quality care for Otolaryngology in the region.


Dr. Wyatt is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, the American Rhinologic Society, the Dallas County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, and the American Medical Association. 

While at Johns Hopkins, he was involved in health policy research focused on cost-effectiveness and healthcare utilization patterns, and conducted research related to hearing loss, its impact on the quality of life in adults and children, and the cost-effectiveness of treatments for severe hearing loss.


His outside interests include aviation; he has been a licensed pilot since 1981 and is still actively flying.

Nick Summerville - Vice President / Development

 

Summerville leads the execution of the firm's Healthcare and Mixed-Use developments, and has been instrumental in establishing the firm's corporate objectives and marketing plan. Summerville's in depth knowledge of real estate and construction enables him and NRG to provide sought-after project management consulting services for a broad spectrum of clients and building-types.
           
Prior to joining Neal Richards Group, Summerville served as Development Executive for Las Vegas-based GSG Development where he led the planning and operations associated with $800 million of mixed use development. Additionally, Summerville was part of a development team that created and established Las Vegas' West Village master planned community. Prior to his career in Las Vegas, Summerville worked as a Project Manager for The Whiting-Turner Contracting Co. in Dallas, TX, where he successfully managed multi-million-dollar projects nationwide from pre-construction to completion.

He currently serves as a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Dallas Chapter. Additionally, Summerville was in recognized in 2007 by In Business Las Vegas in its annual listing of Who's Who of Las Vegas Real Estate.
Summerville, a Texas A&M University graduate, is an active parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church in Dallas, TX.
